SIGN and SHARE Petition Asking the President to Sign an Executive Order Ending HIV Criminalization in the US military

We the People ...

Sign an Executive Order banning and reviewing all, new and previous, HIV related prosecutions within the Dept of Defense

PLEASE Help Give us the Opportunity to be heard by the White House....

Neither the President, nor Congress, have ever directed or authorized the criminal prosecution of HIV positive service members in the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ); however, all of the service departments (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard) continue to take actions, both administratively discriminating and criminally prosecuting service members living with HIV. These prosecutions are neither based on any investigation, nor have they ever, reflected the science and medical evidence of transmission or risk. These actions do not protect the force, but rather foster discrimination of specific members of the Armed Forces solely based on living and serving with HIV. Upon review, all corrections to service records/pay/benefits must be made as appropriate to the veteran.
